Huntington rated No. 1 in customer satisfaction

Huntington Bank has been rated by small- business owners as No. 1 in the nation for customer satisfaction, according to J.D. Power and Associates’ 2012 U.S. Small Business Banking Satisfaction Study.

J.D. Power and Associates surveyed 7,246 customers at the nation’s largest financial institutions who gave Huntington a score of 793 on scale of 1,000 points.

The survey also found that Huntington performs particularly well in account activities, product offerings, fees and account information. Overall satisfaction among small-business banking customers averaged 736 this year.

Last month, Huntington was named the country’s third-largest U.S. Small Business Administration lender, and the bank ranked first among SBA lenders in the markets it serves across Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Indiana, West Virginia and Kentucky.

Huntington has $56 billion in assets and is Ohio’s second-largest bank by deposits, according to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.
