GED testing planned this month

Official GED testing sponsored by Choffin Career and Technical Center’s Adult Education Department, University System of Ohio, offers afternoon GED two-day testing at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, at Choffin.

All participants must be pre-registered and bring photo identification. To pre-register for the test or to enroll in free classes, call Choffin at 330-744-8715.

Ursuline sets placement test

Ursuline High School will administer its placement and scholarship test from 8 a.m. to noon Nov. 17 in the cafeteria for all incoming freshmen.

There is no charge for the test. Students should bring two No. 2 pencils and a calculator. To register for the test, parents must call the main office at 330-744-4563 and reserve a place for their child.

Placement in honors courses is based upon successful completion of this entrance exam. The awarding of certain academic scholarships is based on this test as well.
