St. Elizabeth Health Center Auxiliary will meet at noon Monday in the private dining room at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Belmont Avenue. The speaker will be Jim Sutman from The Purple Cat.

CLASSES

Campbell Memorial High School Class of 1963 will meet for lunch at noon Wednesday at Danny Boys (formerly Oscar’s), 1315 Boardman-Canfield Road, Boardman. Guests are welcome. Call 330-726-3726 for directions.

Woodrow Wilson High School January and June Classes of 1947 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s in Boardman.

CLUBS

Chapter CE of PEO Sisterhood will meet at noon Wednesday at A La Cart Catering in Canfield for a lunch and meeting. A program will be presented by a representative of the Alzheimer’s Association. Hostesses are Karen Dennison and Becky Murray.

Civil War Re-enactors of the ’60s and ’70s and their families will gather at 3 p.m. Nov. 18 at Heritage Presbyterian Church, 1951 Mathews Road, Poland. Prospective members are welcome. Polish Arts Club of Youngstown will have its annual Wigilia dinner, a Polish Christmas celebration, Dec. 2 at St. Christine’s Parish Hall, Schenley Avenue, Youngstown. Cocktail hour begins at 1 p.m. followed by dinner at 2:30 p.m. Entertainment will be by Radoslow Fizek of Pittsburgh. Door prizes, a basket raffle and a 50-50 raffle will highlight the afternoon. Tickets are $35 adults, $12 for children 7 to 12 and free for those 6 and under. Youngstown Area Weavers Guild will take a road trip Nov. 15 to Cleveland Museum of Art to view the Wari: Lords of the Ancient Andes exhibit. Members will meet again at 10 a.m. Nov. 28 at the Weaving Willow on Hubbard Brookfield Road to continue to work on and fill the handmade totes and baskets for a community service project. LIBRARY FRIENDS

Friends of the Austintown Library will honor American armed forces from 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 19. Speaker Howard B. Friend, a decorated World War II Army veteran, will discuss the Battle of the Bulge. Reservations will be taken for the Christmas brunch; cost is $7 each. Space is limited.

Friends of the Boardman Library will meet Monday in the community room. Refreshments will be served at 9:30 a.m. followed by the program at 10. This month’s speaker will be Dr. Rosemary D’Apolito on the topic “New Immigration in America and Mahoning Valley.” Hostesses are Betty Dunn, Kay Vasco and Jan Noel. Guests are welcome. Donations of books, DVDs, CDs and magazines are accepted on the first and third Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon. All proceeds are used to support the library reading programs.

Elaine Pearce, a dietitian at St. Elizabeth Health Center, will be the featured speaker. The group provides an opportunity for ostomy patients and their families and friends to network while receiving ongoing education and information. Refreshments are provided, and parking is free.
