METRO DIGEST || Springfield students fight over texts

Published: Fri, November 9, 2012 @ 12:00 a.m.

Staff report

NEW MIDDLETOWN

Village and Springfield Township police responded to a report of students gathering to watch a fight on Circleview Court.

About 30 students were parking, blocking the street Thursday afternoon. One boy was arrested for assault and disorderly conduct and released to his stepfather, police said.

The two boys were arguing over texts and insults posted on social-media sites during the past two days. They arranged to fight, and information about their meeting was communicated to others via text- messaging.

The names of the students gathered for the fight will be given to Springfield School District administrators for review, police said.

The fat springfield mom just stands there and watches.... and then she says it was her duty as a homeowner and parent to call the police... Gimme a break lady.... Don't commend yourself for being a good parent on the news, just be one...... Moron... She should be charged as well, for standing there watching...
