This is a great opportunity for adults as well as kids to share their holiday cheer with our troops by sending them cards, letters and gifts. It’s a perfect way to show your support and express your thanks for the sacrifices the soldiers are making on our behalf.
Parents and teachers are encouraged to help their children and students participate, and club members are urged to turn this opportunity into a group project.
All who get involved are asked to send us pictures of your project, and we’ll post them online.

FOR YOUR SOLDIER
VFW Operation Uplink operates a Free Calls Days program, which offers free phone calls twice a month to service members stationed abroad to enable them to stay connected with their family and friends on a more regular basis.
They work through over 600 MWR (SPAWAR) internet cafés in the Afghanistan/Kuwait region. In addition, service members in other regions who have access to DSN lines are able to take advantage of the program.
