Parachuting incident

Police are investigating an incident of criminal trespass when three people reportedly parachuted off the main WKBN tower.

A witness called police about 6:50 a.m. Sunday and reported three people dressed all in black jumping off a tower in the field south of the WKBN studio, 3930 Sunset Blvd., and opening parachutes, according to reports. The trio ran southeast after they landed, police said. No damage was observed, and transmission was not interrupted, records stated.

Innocent plea

An innocent plea was entered Monday in Warren Municipal Court for Dominique Richardson, 21, of North Leavitt Road to burglary after his arrest early Sunday on Summit Street Northwest.

A 77-year-old Summit Street woman told police she saw Richardson in her house at 1:40 a.m. and then he tried to steal her daughter’s car. When an officer arrived at the home, Richardson walked up to him, dropped to his knees and told the officer to take him to jail, police said. The officer did. The woman said she first noticed Richardson standing next to her refrigerator after she heard her screen door open. No force was used to get in the house because the doors were unlocked, the woman said. He is in Trumbull County jail in lieu of $2,500 bond.
