Members of the Friends of Boardman Schools levy committee have declared victory, claiming their unofficial canvas of Township polling places reveals the "yes" vote will total 53 percent.
Voters were deciding a 3.9-mill, three-year additional emergency operating levy for Boardman schools that would generate $3,178,231 annually. The levy will cost the owner of a $100,000 home $119.44 each year.
