Published: Mon, November 5, 2012 @ 3:40 p.m.

BOARDMAN — Police are investigating an incident of criminal trespass when three people allegedly parachuted off the main WKBN tower on Sunset Boulevard near South Avenue.

A witness called police about 6:50 a.m. Sunday and reported three people dressed all in black jumping off a tower in the field south of the WKBN studio and opening parachutes, according to reports.

The trio ran southeast after they landed, police said. No damage was observed and transmission was not interrupted, record stated.

About the only thing WKBN is good for ! Interesting that they don't own the tower anymore... Sold that out too.

I think it speaks to WKBN's ability as a news a news organization that this happened literally in their backyard and there is no video of it. I guess they were too busy picking out mystery songs and personalized license plates for Rich Morgan.
