The Butler Institute of American Art, 524 Wick Ave., will host a preview party for its 42nd Annual American Fine Arts and Crafts Show, “An American Holiday,” from 6 to 9 p.m. Nov. 30.
Sale dates for the public are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 1 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 2. Admission is $5 a person and free for children under 12.
Works by more than 100 artists and crafters in a variety of media will be on display.
Preview party tickets are $30 for members and $40 for nonmembers. There will be a cash bar and gourmet buffet supper.
Proceeds from the event support Butler education programs and the Butler free admission policy.
Preview party reservations are due Nov. 23 by calling 330-743-1107, ext. 210, or by mailing checks payable to BIAA to: American Holiday Preview Party, The Butler Institute of American Art, 524 Wick Ave., Youngstown, OH 44502. Tickets will be mailed and are required for admission and the door prize drawing.
Those who attend the party will receive a reproduction of a Butler masterwork as a special gift and discounts for the museum gift shop.

Chiu, Nancy DeGood, Atty. Rebecca Gerson, Audrey Korenic, Deborah Liptak, John MacIntosh, Rich Morgan, Raquel Pacheco, Regina Reynolds, Rick Shale, Juanita Sherba, Paul Sherba, Kary Shively, Guy Shively, Mark Shohayda, Glenn Stevens, Florence Wang, Robin Wesson and Dr. Lou Zona.
To accommodate these special events, all permanent and special exhibits will close Nov. 27 and reopen Dec. 11. There will be free parking.
