Boehner before crowd in Niles: Don’t let Obama destroy drilling

Staff report

NILES

John Boehner, Republican Speaker of the U.S. House, taargeted the region’s growing oil and gas industry when he spoke in the parking lot of the Great East Plaza tonight.

“And there’s another thing the president has really gone after, and that’s coal, oil, gas. We know what’s going to happen here. His EPA and 20 other agencies are trying to find some way to regulate fracking in America,” Boehner said.

“You know what that means, don’t you? That means they’re going to try to shut down gas and oil wells on private land. They’ve already done it on public land.”

Boeher, the third person in the line of succession for the presidency behind Obama and Vice President Joe Biden, talked about five minutes to about 250 people in front of the Republicans’ Niles Victory Center.

The large green “Team Boehner” bus pulled up in front of the victory center at about 5 p.m. after several other Republican speakers and candidates had already addressed the crowd, including Republican Congressional candidates David Joyce of Geauga County and Marisha Agana of Howland (running against Tim Ryan of Niles in the 13th District) and U.S. Senate candidate Josh Mandel, who is challenging incumbent Sherrod Brown.

Boehner, of suburban Cincinnati, made four stops in Ohio Sunday, with Niles being the third. He was headed to Lisbon a short time after he finished speaking and greeting members of the Niles audience.

Mr. Boehner, do you think our attention spans are so short that we've forgotten which party got us into this mess to begin with?

The most damning indictments against Barack Obama as he seeks reelection are his (lies) false promises.
“That’s why today, I’m pledging to cut the deficit we inherited by half by the end of my first term in office.” That categorical pledge occurred three years ago, February 23, 2009.
Obama’s assurance that, “If I don’t have this done in three years, then there’s going to be a one-term proposition.”.

CNS.Com News: What Bush did it in eight years. Obama has done in three years and two months. Obama has added more to the national debt in three years and two months than Bush did in eight years. Ref. Bureau of Public Debt at the Treasury Department.

The Obama's big time vacations has added over a half billion to the debt. They take about one every month. His wife is costing us over a million a year for all her servants.
There are living better than kings on our tax dollars and loans from other countries that we have to pay interest on.

Obama said he would secure our borders when he was running for president in 2008. Our borders are not secure! He sued Arizona for enforcing the law that he would not enforce.

Obama had his chance and failed Romney is a good business man that can straighten out the mess in Washington if anyone can.

For what Obama did in Libya alone he should be jailed for the rest of his life. The economy, the current poor quality of life, and the general destruction of America at his hands are all secondary issues due to a man who has no business in the White House.

We have a choice: generate more super storms and hurricanes like Sandy or finally wake up and reduce greenhouse emissions to avoid future catastrophic storms. The first comes from more fracking; the second comes from a ban no fracking. Which do you want for your children and grandchildren?

My hope for my grandchildren is that when they are out of college that they can get a job. My hope is also that when I buy items at the store that they are made in the USA, not China. I also hope that when I pick up the newspaper I do not see page after page of house foreclosures. When I fill up my car with gasoline that the price per gallon is reasonable not as it has been. I could go on and on, but I won't. But our only hope is Romney/Ryan.

I just hate it when people spew "our only hope is Romney". Really? Do you think the world is going to end when Obama is re-elected? Actually, the two party system is pretty much a joke anymore. If you saw Harry Reid and Mitch McConnell on 60 Minutes last night, it's pretty clear that neither side actually remembers what they were sent to Washington to do. I'm voting Obama because his beliefs are most closely aligned to me. When I look at Romney, all I see is a rich hypocrite. For those of us whose number one priority is an educated citizenry, it speaks volumes that Romney has the audacity to say that teachers want smaller class sizes because it benefits the teachers' unions, yet he sent his children to private schools where the average class size was 12. His entire campaign has been an insult to middle class voters. I think he did a great job at running the Olympics...maybe he can find another gig doing something similar. That being said, I'm pretty cynical about the next 4 years regardless of who wins on Tuesday. Obama will be roadblocked by the Republican congress...and Romney would be roadblocked by the Democrat Senate. Until real compromise and genuine discussion can be reached on the huge issues facing our country in the next several years, I'm not optimistic. Pity that the so called best and brightest can't figure out a way to get things done.

Remember Willard's idea to get to college is to borrow from your parents. HEY WILLARD we all don't have parents with that much money. Remember WE ARE THE MIDDLE CLASS. You have NO IDEA what that is like.

@Education_Voter

Republicans are liars and thieves? What do you have to say about your own party? Care to dispute any of this?

The Democrats destroyed the economy. Take a look at the marvelous job Dear Leader Bronco Bama as done:

-43 months of 8%+ unemployment
-16.2 trillion dollars in DEBT
-Al Qaeda is ALIVE
-Ambassador DEAD
-47 million on FOOD STAMPS
-MILLIONS left the labor force
-Grocery prices up 15%
-Income down 8.2%
-Gasoline prices up 250%
-Benghazi cover up.
-Fast n Furious cover up
-Billions in fraudulent "green" projects

And how about the other wonderful things the Democrats have achieved over the years:

The Democrat Party

-Fought for slavery
-Began the Civil War
-Founded the Ku Klux Klan
-Created Jim Crow
-Levied poll taxes
-Fought against Civil Rights
-Insured Japanese internment

The Democrats have been working to keep blacks and others down for 250 years!!

Woo-hoo! Thank you Democrats!

OHIO VOTES ROMNEY!
