Officials to be feted
A group of Mahoning Valley’s elected officials will be on hand for the Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber’s second annual “A Salute to Elected Officials.”
The event, a mixer and wine tasting, will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 19 at the Youngstown Country Club at 1402 Country Club Drive.

New bank branch
First National Bank, in an effort to increase its branch network, will open a new 5,800-square-foot office at 6515 Tippecanoe Road where it intersects with U.S. Route 224.
In addition to providing a full range of traditional retail and commercial banking services, the branch also will serve the needs of wealth management and private banking clients.
The new location is slated to open Dec. 3.
Employees of Sheely’s Furniture and Appliance are banding to together for a fundraiser to raise money for an ill co-worker experiencing a series of health complications.
A spaghetti dinner will take place from 12:30 to 6 p.m. Nov. 11 from at the New Springfield Church of God at 3649 East Garfield Road.
The event will help with medical expenses incurred by Debbie Cope of East Palestine, who was found to have a blood clot at the opening of her small intestine. The clot required immediate surgery, which led to others. Cope is now in acute rehabilitation.

The Charles Nelson Schmick House, a Victorian bed and breakfast, will have its grand opening from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at 110 Walnut St.
The house, originally constructed in 1870, is being marketed as a location for wedding, funeral and reunion parties. It also provides lodging for vacationers or business parties.

Pathways of Ohio Counseling Services recently expanded its business and moved to 84 South Main Street.
The new location, in the Town One Square shopping complex, offers independently licensed behavioral-health therapists with supervisory credentials.
Treatment options are offered to adults, adolescents, children, families and couples. Pathways of Ohio also provides in-home therapy.
