Wesley Clark says Romney fails commander-in-chief test

Wesley Clark says Romney fails commander-in-chief test

YOUNGSTOWN

Wesley Clark, a retired four-star general and President Barack Obama surrogate, said Mitt Romney has “failed the commander-in-chief test.”

Speaking today at Youngstown State University, Clark, a 2004 Democratic presidential candidate, said Romney, the Republican presidential nominee, “has repeatedly attempted to change and reset his pronouncements on foreign policy.”

In response, Christopher Maloney, a Romney campaign spokesman, said, “Mr. Clark’s criticism proves that the president’s allies are not interested in engaging in a meaningful conversation about the Obama administration’s weak foreign policy record during the last week of the campaign.”

Did the General mention Libya? What test did Obama pass?

We are to believe a man who was was fired for what the then Chairman of fhe Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Hugh Shelton, said was for "integrity and character issues?" (Surprising the president would want such a person out campaigning for him.)

Clark is a Democrat.

Here is another OBAMA LIE:

Here is a sample of the devious, unethical,

law breaking acts that this administration will go to. Obama & his

people are corrupt without honesty or an ounce of integrity. Obama &

company will lie, cheat and steal, those actions are taken against ALL

Americans. By the way the 4th. to last sentence says it all, the American

people (government-that is us tax payers) will pay the severance packages.

These guys cannot do anything above board !

Subject: Fw: Lockheed

This is absolutely

spot on true, check it out yourself Google " Lockheed pending

layoffs"
Keep this going and lets try to sway

a few more voters and try to avoid

the calamity that awaits us if this clown gets another [4] years

to serve up his koolaid

recipe.

Lockheed Martin had planned to lay

off 123,000 defense workers on Jan

1
due to the sequestration law.

The law requires Lockheed to give 60-day
notice to all to-be-fired employees within 60 days.

That drop dead date
would be November 1st. Since this would be bad

for the election.

Obama has promised that our government would cover all Lockheed

severance packages to fired employees if Lockheed would not release

the names and locations of

those losing their jobs until after

the election!
Send this to all you know since this may not show up in the news. This posting is

from a defense contract newspaper called The Hill. This is blatantly

against the law.

Read details below and pass to your undecided

TheThinker the difference is that Clark is no longer a soldier. The Navy SEALS are still serving and Obama is their Commander in Chief.

When I was serving George W. Bush was my Commander in Chief and I couldn't stand him but I kept my mouth shut.

Maloney is right-on. Obama is ducking every legitimate question about his international cowardice. China has quit buying American bonds because of the downgrade caused by Obama increasing American debt to $16 trillion. Obama's "plan" will continue to increase that debt. Our kids will be sending their taxes to China soon rather than the IRS. Obama took office with an employment rate of 7.8%. He promised us that in 4 years he'd lower it to 5.9%. Instead, today he delivered 7.9%. That means 9 million jobs are still MISSING. Obama has failed us miserably.

Obama has retaken the lead in the polls in Florida and widened his lead in Ohio according to yesterday's Wall Street Journal poll.

IM you're wrong again. The Tampa Bay Times, a very liberal newspaper, who endorses Obama - This mornings headline reads - ROMNEY REMAINS ON TOP. " In our poll of likely Fl voters, the Repub challenger has a 6 point lead over Obama."

I would like to add this - the debacle in Bernghazi indicates our president is far better at campaigning than leading. We need experience not experiments & we must have leadership over partisanship.

As a retired US Army Officer, I absolutely KNOW that Obama is unqualified to be President. This clown never held a real job other than to be a ghetto agitator. His tenure as a legislator is a joke. He, like most Progressive Socialists have never supported the military except for photo ops and to gain favorable publicity. As to Wesley Clark. I was still on active duty when Clark was serving. The senior Army leadership wanted Clark to resign when he was a 3 star. There was NO position they wanted to promote him into. Since Clark is from Arkansas and his family has long Democrat ties, Clinton stuck his nose into the Army's business and had Clark promoted and given the position of Commander, US Army Europe. It was well known within Army circles that he slid into the position through political manipulation. Clark was not well liked as a leader, and his opinions regarding Romney at this time are meaningless.

@IslandMoron

Check the numbers idiot. The study is a dem +9 oversampling. Know what that means? Than means the numbers are skewed because far more dems the repubs were asked the polling questions. When the data is corrected for proper statistics O-bout-to-lose is actually trailing significantly.

Nice try though! So much for the MSM.

NBC Propaganda Poll Finds Obama Beating Romney In Ohio By 6-Points, Uses D+9 Sample

http://weaselzippers.us/2012/11/03/nb...

"The likely voter pool in this survey included 38 percent who said they were Democrats, 29 percent who said they were Republicans, 32 percent who said they were Independents and 1 percent who said they had another affiliation."

"The same poll found 45% of likely voters in Ohio consider themselves “conservative” and only 23% claim to “liberal” and yet they still show Obama up six."

@thinkthentalk

I wanted to personally thank you for being another in the long line of lib dems that use vile, foul-mouthed attacks instead of ever addressing the point. People see your seething hatred and near derangement about all things less than 100% liberal and it turns them off. Nobody wants to be part of a crowd of loud-mouthed bullies and ungracious argument losers. Your behavior on these boards drives moderate dems to become independents because they see how unreasonable and radical the left has truly become. So folks, please go read the commentary from people like ThinkThenTalk, IslanMike, 300, etc. Nothing but hatred, intolerance and bigotry peppered with some reason here and there. See how you don't align with these "folks" and seek a greater place with the moderate Republicans and Independents. Thanks Think. Keep it up. Landslide coming on Tuesday and you are helping.

@Sam

Nice hyperbole Sam. Now for some education. News aggregation services, such as some I referenced elsewhere, gather information from other outlets. People have been trying to make sport of Weasel Zippers, a news aggregation site with an interest in matters important to the State of Israel and U.S. Conservatives generally. But to claim their name raises doubt or their information is inaccurate is wrong. Take a look at the sources of aggregation just across a single first page look:

Weekly Standard
Washington Examiner
Getty Images
The Brooklyn Paper
CBS News Affiliate
Tampa Bay Times
Fox News Affiliate
MSNBC
Fox News
Daily Caller
Politico
Newsbusters
Townhall
Twitter
Buzzfeed
Cleveland.com
Twitchy
ABC News

That is a rather well-read and well-heeled list. I would place aggregation across these sources far, far above the level of the Vindicator. Maybe we could drop the thin criticism of the sources until we take a reasonable look and critically evaluate the source, articles and sites included. That is fair. Are you interested in being fair or would you rather join the ThinkThenTalk mob of bigots?
