Eerie creatures, monsters and bedazzled princesses covered almost every inch of Austintown Bounce Oct. 19. The facility welcomed countless children and their families to celebrate during its annual Halloween Bash.
Screams and laughter filled the rooms of the Austintown Bounce as children showed off their costumes, all hoping to win the costume contest.
The theme of the event was simply to have as much fun as possible, according to facility owner, Bruce Shepas, who was just happy to see everyone enjoying themselves.
“My business partner and I are parents and we know how important our kids are to us so we just wanted to give families and kids a fun outing. Every child that comes in gets a free hot dog and a beverage. There’s a variety of costume contests, raffles prizes and giveaways,” Shepas said.
Some parents also came dressed in costume and weren’t afraid to let their inner child out during the celebration. Halloween enthusiast, Karen Piper, was just excited about the event as her daughter.
“We come here for all the events; it’s awesome. I’m just so excited. I love Halloween. I get all involved with decorations. I do the works,” Piper said.
