Masterpiece donation to benefit Way Station

Artist Ray Simon is donating one of his masterpieces to the Simply DeVine Gala and Auction, a benefit for The Way Station of Columbiana. It will be included in the auction that is part of the gala planned from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Nov. 11 at The Links at Firestone Farms, 105 St. Andrews Drive, Columbiana. The 24-by-36-inch print, titled “The Crucifixion: Father Forgive Them For They Know Not What They Do,” has a retail value of $5,000. Admiring the painting are, from left, Cindy Burdick, gala co-chairwoman; Vicki Hopper, executive director of The Way Station; Simon; and Gail Hettrick, gala publicity chairwoman.
