Dedication for Falcon Mobile Med Unit moved to Nov. 9

AUSTINTOWN

The dedication ceremony for the Falcon Mobile Med Unit has been rescheduled due to the weather.

The ceremony has been moved to 10:30 a.m. Nov. 9 in the back parking lot of Austintown Middle School, 700 S. Raccoon Road.

The Mobile Med is a 39-foot unit purchased with a $500,000 U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Grant.

The unit contains two fully equipped medical examination rooms and a reception area,

according to a news release.

The unit, through a partnership with

ValleyCare Northside Medical Center, will serve students and residents of Austintown.
