BEAVER, Pa.
An East Palestine man died Thursday from injuries sustained after a car hit the lawn mower he was riding in Beaver County earlier this week.
According to 21 WFMJ-TV, The Vindicator’s broadcast partner, police said Thomas Weisenberger, 47, was cutting what they believe was a grandparent’s yard Tuesday when he may have gone onto the road and was then hit by a car traveling on the wrong side of the road.
Weisenberger was flown to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, and South Beaver Township Police said the car’s driver, 18, was not injured, according to the TV station’s report.

The punk driving the car was most likely texting. Ban texting and driving
sounds like a speculation that he was texting, but lawn mowers are not driven on highways, ban mowing yards.
"...driving on the wrong side of the road."
he was NOT driving on the highway for one thing..its a back country road...he was on edge of road heading back towards the driveway when the kid hit him from behind because he was driving on the WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD...i agree that he was probably texting but as of right now, no one knows but God and the kid who killed Tom...accident or not...
