BREAKING NEWS: Shaw guilty in Tracee Banks murder

YOUNGSTOWN — Jurors today found Melvin S. Shaw II, 20, of Idlewood Avenue guilty on all counts in the aggravated murder case of Tracee Banks.

Shaw was charged in the 2010 slaying of Banks, 17, and the attempted murder of Jamel Turner, 18, of Youngstown.

Jurors began deliberating Monday afternoon after hearing testimony all last week from police, the coroner’s office and the surviving victim.
