Cattle Baron’s Ball organizers hope to rope in ACS supporters

The sixth annual Cattle Baron’s Ball is being presented by The American Cancer Society on March 24 at Antone’s Banquet Centre, 8578 Market St.
Cancer survivors Glenn Stevens, 21 WFMJ-TV newscaster, and Donna Detwiler, oncology nurse and active community volunteer, will receive honors this year.
Also to be recognized are Brett Wilcox, son of Sharon and Don Wilcox, who is a child survivor of acute myeloid leukemia. Dr. Chander Kohli, a neurosurgeon, will be honored for his many contributions to the community.
The Western-themed ball will take place from 7 to 11 p.m.
The evening will include gourmet dining, live and silent auctions, music by Joey K and fun-filled activities.
A VIP celebration for honorees and sponsors will take place beforehand, from 6 to 7 p.m.
