1 dead, 2 wounded in home invasion
PENN HILLS, Pa. (AP) — Police have been searching for a gunman who killed a 51-year-old woman and wounded two other people during an early morning home invasion near Pittsburgh.
Authorities say the dead woman is 51-year-old Angela Proctor, of Penn Hills.
Police say the gunman entered the home shortly before 1 a.m. today. Two other people were shot and were taken to hospitals.
Police have yet to release the names of the victims and haven’t said if they have a suspect in the shootings.
No arrests have been made.
Allegheny County homicide detectives are handling the investigation. Penn Hills is a suburb just east of Pittsburgh.
