The area’s high school auditoriums will come alive with musicals and plays this winter and spring. Here’s a look at what’s ahead:

“Pippin”

Austintown Fitch High School auditorium, 4560 Falcon Drive, Austintown. Performances are 7 p.m. April 19, 20 and 21. Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for students and seniors.

“The Music Man”

Beaver Local High Auditorium, 13187 state Route 7, Lisbon. Performances are 7 p.m. March 23 and 24. Tickets are $7. 330-386-8700.

“HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING”

Boardman High School, 7777 Glenwood Ave., Boardman. Performances are 7 p.m. March 30, 31 and April 1. Tickets are $12 ($10 for students and senior citizens) and may be purchased in advance at boardmandramaguild.com or 330-259-7150.

“I Hate Shakespeare”

Campbell Memorial High School, 280 Sixth St., Campbell. Performances are 7 p.m. March 9 and 10. Tickets are $5 at the door. 330-799-1515.

“thoroughly modern millie”

Canfield High School auditorium, 100 Cardinal Drive, Canfield. Performances are 7:30 p.m. March 29, 30 and 31. Cost is $7 for students and seniors and $10 for adults. Tickets will be available at the door. To purchase in advance, call 330-702-7128.

“Hello dolly”

Cardinal Mooney High School, 2545 Erie St., Youngstown. Performances are 7 p.m. April 19, 20, 21 and 22. The opening performance will be a dinner show and tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets will be available at the door for the

“Hospital”

“KENNEDY HONORS FOR EXCELLENCE IN THE ARTS”

“A Light in the Darkness”

Liberty High School, Youngstown. This is the first high school in the nation to do this play, written by J.E. Ballantyne Jr. of Youngstown, about the life of Eva Schloss during the Holocaust. Performances are 7 p.m. May 18 and 19, and 3 p.m. May 20. Tickets are $5. 330-759-2301.
