The ladies of Central Park Apartments invite the public to join them for “Christmas in July,” a craft show to benefit the less fortunate in our community. The show will take place from 12:30 to 4 p.m. July 1 on the lawn of the complex, at 155 E. State St. in Niles. Prices for handcrafted goods will range from 50 cents to $30. Doris Balla, chairwoman of the event, welcomes others to join in support. Money will be used to buy items one cannot purchase with food stamps, such as soaps, paper supplies and personal hygiene products. A rain date for the sale is July 8.

Poland Art and Craft Show will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 30 on the green of Poland Village. Vendors are welcome. A registration fee of $30 will include a 15-by-10-foot space. For information call 330-757-4584.

Salem Memorial Building Association will sponsor its 25th annual Arts & Crafts In the Park from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Centennial Park, East Pershing Street, Salem. Setup will be at 7 a.m., rain or shine. A 20-by-20-foot space is $25 if you supply a table and chairs; an 8-foot table and chairs are available for $35. There are no refunds. Harvey S. Firestone Festival of the Arts in Columbiana will take place 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 4 in the park. Artists, crafters and antique dealers, a variety of food vendors and an afternoon of free entertainment will be available. This juried show has a limit of 250 spaces. For the application fee of $75, vendors receive a 20-by-20-foot space, free parking and dealers assistance. A cash prize will go to the most attractive booth in each of the three categories. Ohio State University Alumni Club of Trumbull and Mahoning Counties is announcing its annual benefit football ticket raffle. The grand prize is two President’s Club season football tickets good for all eight home games. Second prize is two tickets to the University of Miami home opener Sept. 1. Austintown Wickliffe Block Watch is sponsoring a hot-dog-eating contest June 30 at Wickliffe Christian Church, 3939 Potomac Ave., during its annual Block Party.
