VIENNA
Craig Hoffman, 33, who suffered gunshot wounds of the thigh and shoulder Wednesday in a fight with his wife at their apartment, has been arraigned on a drug-trafficking charge.
Hoffman was released from St. Elizabeth Health Center and taken to the Trumbull County jail, where he was video-arraigned Friday through Girard Municipal Court, according to 21 WFMJ-TV, The Vindicator’s broadcast partner. His bond was set at $50,000.
His wife, Brooke Hoffman, 38, will be arraigned after being released from the hospital. She faces a drug-trafficking charge and two counts of felonious assault. Police said she shot Craig Hoffman after getting a text message about her husband that angered her. Inside the house, at 4499 Warren-Sharon Road, police found numerous weapons and drugs. Brooke Hoffman suffered a grazing gunshot wound to the head, police said.
