TRAGIC! Speed kills, please slow down.
People fly along that road both up and down the hill. That bend is dangerous and people need to slow down, there are homes along there, rather close to the road too, so situations like this are going to harm more people than those in a car. At least once or twice a year there is an accident, more often than not, they hit the trees. So sad though with this situation, thoughts to the families involved.
6 teenagers out late at night with an obviously inexperienced driver adds up to trouble. What are parents if they have any thinking?
doowoptokidrock---- there is a teenager dead and more hurt.... dont be ignorant with your words. It is summer, school is out, teenagers will be out late. This is a terrible thing that has happened and my heart goes out to the families!
What happened to the curfew I read in the vindicator that Mr. Foley was going to initiate??And yes schools out but it has nothing to do with having your minor off the streets and in your home or relative by that time, its just the way informed parents think. doowop I agree with you parents need make decisions like: does my 16 year old child need to be out with 18-21 year olds at that time for sure. Its sad for all involved. The curfew is a good thing for this area it will keep trouble makers off the streets and kids off the roads with others to prevent maybe sad things of this nature, That is IF they enforce the curfew and thats a big IF
Channel 33 News reported that the boys were heading to Niles to play basketball after attending to St. Joe's Festival in Campbell... 11pm to play bball, must be pretty serious ballers.
If I had to guess the kids were probably going to Masso to play basketball. My son included has been there with more of their classmates while supervised with an adult. Furthermore, the one kid was with his brother and the others were above 18. Lets not try to scandalize a tragic event and pray for all of the families involved. Tyrel had a young son who he cared for. Pray for him and his girlfriend Sheyla and their families.
My brother was one of the young men involved in this accident and I have known the young man that passed since he was in middle school. doowoptokidrock--you don't know the situation. My mother is a responsible parent who told me brother that he could go out with his friends. She knew his whereabouts and who he was with. This is a tragic event and no one needs you making these ignorant comments. Keep these young men in your prayers as they recover and have to say goodbye to a friend. Keep all the families involved in your prayers and know the facts before you make an assumption about someone.
R.I.P...... The Good Lord will give, and the Good Lord will take away. Prayers for the families at this time of need..
binx, you got it right 11pm to play basketball say no more.
