Mahoning County property tax bills in the mail

YOUNGSTOWN — Mahoning County property owners will receive their second-half real estate tax bills in the mail in the coming days.

Property owners who do not receive statements by July 21 should call the Treasurer’s Office at 330-740-2460 to confirm payment amounts or request copies of bills, Treasurer Daniel R. Yemma said.The deadline to pay without penalty is Aug. 10.

Explain why my property taxes have not gone down even though my property value is way lower than what it was when I bought my home.

They sent me one tax price and my nortgage company another. The mortgage company was way higher then the one they sent me. Go figure!!!!!!!!
