Harvey S. Firestone Festival of the Arts in Columbiana will take place 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 4 in the park. Artists, crafters and antique dealers, a variety of food vendors and an afternoon of free entertainment will be available. This juried show has a limit of 250 spaces. For the application fee of $75, vendors receive a 20-by-20-foot space, free parking and dealers assistance. A cash prize will go to the most attractive booth in each of the three categories. Leetonia Artisans Festival Committee is seeking arts, crafts, antiques and collectibles vendors for the 27th annual show, set for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 23, rain or shine, at Leetonia Wick Park on Walnut Street. Paradise United Church of Christ, 10020 New Buffalo Road, Canfield, will have a lawn festival from 4 to 7 p.m. July 21 at the church. The event will include food, a raffle, a basket auction, country store, bake sale, games and a 3:30 concert by God’s Quad. The festival will occur rain or shine.


Hubbard High School Alumni Association is selling tickets for a chance to win a golf and vacation package to the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs. The three-night stay for four people includes one round of golf per person, one 50-minute Swedish massage per person and $500 spending money. The package is good Sunday through Thursday on a space-available basis through May 2014. The drawing will take place Oct. 13 at the Hubbard High School Alumni Banquet.
