We should show our gratitude
Shame on the individuals who were instrumental in bringing about this injustice to Sister Jerome Corcoran. This lady has done more to educate inner city children and their parents than will ever be known. I know, because I am one of the recipients of her encouragement and kindness. Now, after all these years for this wonderful lady to be disrespected this way is incomprehensible.
I’m very glad that my three grandsons had the opportunity to attend the Mill Creek Community Center Schools, while she was there. Because after seeing the indifference in how she was dismissed, I have a feeling that a change is coming.
Come on, people, let Sister Jerome know that we stand with her the way she has stood up for so many of us all these years.
We love you, Sister Jerome Corcoran. May the road rise to meet you, May the wind be always at your back. May health and happiness follow you all the days of your life and until we meet again. May God continue to hold you in the palm of his hands.

The fact is she should have been fired long ago. The way she treats employees is unbelievable. They gave her a chance for a graceful exit and she did not take it.
I haven't been there, and I don't know what went on as of recent times. And I understand what you say, and don't dispute you! I DO know that this lady had some uncompromising ways! And she stuck to her laurals! Perhaps THAT was the 'issue' that erupted! She is a veteran at what she does! And many who have come afterwards, just do 'not' have the same morals or standards. I've seen this time and time again in so many arenas. And the older member may feel as if they must hold UP the 'standard' which got them there in the first place for all the others to come behind them. But if they do not hold the same or similar standards, that can become a problem. BeCAUSE of that, so 'much' of our 'lives' has gone down the drain today with an 'anything goes' mentality! The integrity is gone and there is nothing left of notoriety! If this is the case, I can understand her stand! IF we take a good HONEST look, we may find that this indeed may have 'been' the case. Before we judge too harshly and 'hastily', let us look through the eyes and step into the shoes of another to understand WHY they may indeed 'be' the way they are about things! Integrity and Legacy is to be protected by the ones who 'know' it, and 'made' it!
