Manningham fined in misdemeanor traffic matter
WARREN
Even when you’re a beloved native son who helped his team win last February’s Super Bowl by making a huge sideline catch late in the game, you still have to obey the traffic laws.
Warren G. Harding High School standout Mario Manningham, whose catch helped the New York Giants, found that out early Saturday on East Market Street.
He received a citation from a Warren police officer for stopping his vehicle and blocking traffic at 2:58 a.m. near Elm Road. A relative paid the minor misdemeanor traffic citation on Monday, officials said.
Fines were also paid last year after Manningham, whose address is on Oak Knoll Avenue, was charged with speeding by the Ohio State Highway Patrol in May 2011 and with having tinted windows by the highway patrol in July 2011.

Does anyone really care?
Kudos to the officer for not showing any preferential treatment to him. And why did a relative pay for the citation? Doesn't he make millions? But I agree with the above post: who cares?
Hmm, what was he doing at 2:58am blocking traffic. Sound like he is headed down the wrong road. Trouble I say, Trouble...
What the heck kind of news is this...Who cares !!
A traffic ticket.......news? Almost as worthless as a Skolnick piece. Of course, I'm the stupid one. I'm a paid subscriber!
I'm posting again since they are not seeming to be posting. Does Warren Police know that they can stop traffic if they want to talk to someone, run red lights, walk in the middle of the street and defy you to hit them. Maybe Youngstown police can get them up to date on the laws of that population. Good job officers finally someone is treating them like the rest of the population
