Remodeled McDonalds debuts Thursday on Midlothian

YOUNGSTOWN

Herb and Gisele Washington will debut their newly remodeled and environmentally friendly McDonald’s restaurant at 609 Midlothian Blvd. on Thursday.

Participating in the festivities will be Mayor Chuck Sammarone, members of the Youngstown City Council, Children from the Eagle’s Christian Preschool/Daycare and Ronald McDonald.

To celebrate the new look, the store will conduct a special Enter-To-Win prize drawing, including a chance to win a Lordstown-built Chevrolet Cruze.

After years of putting on the pounds with Mickey D's, people are switching to Subway and Panera Bread. Burgers and greasy fries just don't have the appeal they once had.

From all above comments , obviously a lot of people haven't updated their understanding of Youngstown realities lately . A new supermarket will open soon in this neighborhood also .
The Midlothian restaurant got an excellent review in this "Grubgripe" review . He was very impressed with cleanliness & customer service..

VINDYAK obviously doesn't know McDonalds now sells salads as well .
I don't what type of "sex offenders" lovedrama is talkling about , but the Mahoning Sherrif's website shows the nearest registered sex offenders living 1/3 mile away .Nothing showing at the trailer park . There are only 18 within a 1 mile radius - mostly in the streets North of Midlothian & between South & Southern .
Maybe some folks in the townships are getting worried about all the new building going on in Youngstown , the tangible improvements in the neighborhoods & schools & the reversal of the population drift starting to occur .there .

Ummm .... the only way I have ever used this McDonald's is via the drive-thru as any other way is asking for trouble - this is coming from someone that carries and can protect themselves from bodily harm. I teach my classes to NOT put themselves in needless situations; this particular area is dangerous; don't take my word for it, search the Vindy archives and see how many articles are related to this area.
