Obama to woman: Send hubby’s r sum

Published: Tue, January 31, 2012 @ 12:00 a.m.

Associated Press

WASHINGTON

President Barack Obama is trying to rebuild the American economy, one job at a time — literally.

The president asked an online town-hall questioner Monday to send him her husband’s r sum , insisting he wanted to look into why the man remained out of work despite his background as a semiconductor engineer.

“I meant what I said; if you send me your husband’s r sum , I’d be interested in finding out exactly what’s happening right there,” Obama told the questioner, Jennifer Wedel of Fort Worth, Texas.

He told Wedel that according to what he was hearing from industry, such high-tech fields are in great demand, and her husband “should be able to find something right away.”

Wedel told Obama that despite what he said, her husband had been out of work for three years. She wanted to know why foreign workers were getting visas for high-skilled work.

The exchange came as Obama appeared in a live video-chat room known as a “Hangout,” part of online search giant Google’s social-networking site, Google Plus.

Now Obama is going to review people resume's??? For what reason??? He can't even do his job and he's going to review other people?

If the guy's been out of work for a while and has a good skillset that is in demand, then look at Human Resources and the ongoing rampant AGE DISCRIMINATION that a majority of HR departments practice. Ageism is silent. Ageism is faceless. If it was legal to do, HR would include a "You must be currently employed and have been born no later than 198xyz to apply for this job"

I wish everyone would have looked at resume before electing him

Wouldnt it be great if the great job creator received a couple million resumes in the coming weeks.. Great PR for the right... Wonder how he would critique a resume. He has never had a job.. How would he know?

Will this be the "average Joe" poster child of 2012 election?

Most Americans did look at Obama's resume. Thats why he is the current President. Much better alternative then Mccain/Palin. Heck she QUIT Gov of Alaska to be at home with her family. Then she travels the entire country instead of what she siad she would do.

We are much better off now then when Obama took office three years ago.

ACC we are not any better , but a whole lot worse. Gas prices have double, more people on welfare and climbing. More handouts , so that the people have become moochers on our society. if you consider that better I guess you are right.

redeye1.....chevron just posted their quarterly report. Guess what? Record profits yet AGAIN!

I'm providing a link that I feel proves corporate greed causes gas prices to keep going up. cheveron is one of the richest companies in the world, making record profits quarter after quarter and at the same time being subsidized by the American tax payer.

Now maybe you can post a link that explains why Obama should be blamed for today's gas prices.

Nearly all links are opinions. 26.9 billion is a fact..lot of money...how much is 16.9 trillion? fact or opinion?
