Water main break closes some West Side streets

Oakwood Avenue between Wesley and Rhoda avenues, Wesley from Connecticut to Mahoning avenues, and Rhoda from Connecticut to Mahoning avenues closed this afternoon for the Mahoning Valley Sanitary District to repair a 42-inch water main line. Local traffic to residents will be maintained with detours for other vehicles. The time-frame for the closure isn’t known, city officials said.
