The Canfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two-car accident Saturday involving two teenage drivers that sent eight people to the hospital.

According to a OSHP release, the two vehicles, each with three passengers, collided at the intersection of Midlothian Boulevard and Hillman Street.

Marc Hood, 18 from Canfield, was driving east on Midlothian Boulevard when Tierra Rankins, 19 from Youngstown, struck Hood’s vehicle as she was driving south on Hillman Street, a release said.

Hood and the three passengers were taken to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, where hospital officials said he was released Sunday. Rankins and her three passengers were taken to Northside Medical Center. There is no word on her condition or the conditions of the six others.

Kids from Canfield on the South side? For what?
One thing comes to mind.

Marc Hood is having a bad month.

He was involved in that "gun prank" in Canfield a few weeks ago. They lied to the police.

Wonder what they told the police as to why they were driving around on the South side?

come on people, Mark Hood was driving down Midlothian Boulevard, the other driver was coming from Hillman. Is it possible Mark hood had been at the mexican restaurant on Midlothian, picking up a friend in Struthers, or just driving down the main road of Midlothian. He is a high school boy, lets remember that and not jump to conclusions so quickly. People from one town are certainly permitted to drive on roads in different roads.

With the likes of this Hood on the loose, it's no wonder that many from our suburban communities fear driving through our fair city.

He was picking up his sisters boyfriend and heading to the movies with the other little sister in tow. they hit a patch of ice and slid through the intersection....something that can happen to anyone...NO DRUGS...NO ALCOHOL.He may have a bad month, but let something happen to you and have it broadcast...in this day and age it can happen easily...and you deal with it and see how many small minded and judgemental creatins you get commenting on you....let us see how well you deal with it. I wish it on every naysayer here.
