Youngstown bans parking on city streets in advance of snow storm

Published: Fri, January 20, 2012 @ 1:22 p.m.

YOUNGSTOWN — The city has declared a snow emergency, and parking is banned on all city streets effective at midnight Saturday until further notice.

Charles T. Shasho, the city's deputy director of public works, said any vehicle parked on the streets during the snow-emergency period can be towed at the owner's expense.

The Mahoning Valley is expected to receive 4 or more inches beginning today and extending into Saturday.

What ever happened to any news about earthquake #12 ?

Could we possibly be getting over the hysteria?

No, this is not related to snow storms.
