Pizza delivery man robbed on West Side

YOUNGSTOWN

Police are looking for the man who robbed a pizza delivery man at gunpoint on the West Side.

According to police, the 51-year-old delivery man was attempting to deliver a pizza to a home in the 200 block of Steel Street at 7 p.m. Tuesday when a black male in his late teens standing at about 5’10” and weighing about 140 pounds pulled a gun on him and demanded the pizza and his wallet. The thief was wearing a long blue coat, dark pants and a dark hat.

According to police the thief fired one shot in the air and threatened to shoot the driver before running off.

Pizza guys get a carry conceal and protect yourself, these low life's know you are easy targets and you were lucky this scum did not kill you. Same goes for convenient store employees arm yourselves and protect yourselves

The section 8 housing off Salt Springs is a good mile and a half from Steel Street. Don't think homey is chugging pizza that far......too much like work!

Great example of the rampant racism at Vindy.com. There are some real issues in what happened here, but most of the stuff mentioned above is hate-mongering and not actually suggesting anything useful.

Always have to blame everyone else but who is really responsible for this wanna b gangsta. Get on his parents case not society.
He was brought into this world by 2 people and the COMMUNITY should not have to raise him!!!
