YOUNGSTOWN
Several inches of falling snow have covered roads in Youngstown over the past several hours, making roads slippery and driving difficult.
Youngstown police Lt. Douglas Bobovnik said it looks as if two or more inches have already fallen in the downtown area, covering city streets.
He said salt and plow trucks should be out clearing the roads.
“I’m sure they’re out by now,” he said.
Bobovnik said he hasn’t had any reports of accidents in the city over the past few hours.
“I’m sure they’ll be coming in soon, though,” he said.
