Los Angeles teacher’s aide arrested for lewd acts
LOS ANGELES (AP) — A Los Angeles high school teacher’s aide has been arrested on suspicion of committing lewd acts with a child, the third molestation arrest in recent weeks in the nation’s second-largest school district.
KNX radio reports the FBI arrested the Fremont High School employee on Monday. His name hasn’t been released.
Superintendent John Deasy says the FBI informed the Los Angeles Unified School District that the man was arrested during a child sex investigation, but he’s not providing details.
An FBI spokeswoman didn’t immediately return a call early Tuesday.
Two former Miramonte Elementary School teachers have been charged with committing lewd acts against children.
