Mooney's McCarthy signs with Chiefs

Cardinal Mooney High graduate Kyle McCarthy has signed with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The former Notre Dame standout played two years at safety for the Denver Broncos after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent. He appeared in 12 games over the two seasons, recording seven tackles.
