Santorum victor in tonight's primaries

Published: Tue, February 7, 2012 @ 11:52 p.m.

WASHINGTON (AP)

A resurgent Rick Santorum won Minnesota's Republican caucuses with ease Tuesday night, relegating GOP front-runner Mitt Romney to a distant third-place finish that raised fresh questions about his ability to attract ardent conservatives at the core of the party's political base.

Santorum was victorious, as well, in a nonbinding Missouri primary that was worth bragging rights but no delegates, and he led in early returns from Colorado's caucuses.

peacelover; yes, Obamaphiles really are that dumb. Somehow they approve of ever-increasing national debt, higher unemployment, more people on welfare/food stamps/assistance, unbridled influx of illegals, a moribund economy, lower standard of living, higher gas prices, czars, 40,000 more IRS agents, increased government regulation of small business, huge EPA increases, inept foreign policy, taxpayer funded date nights involving AirForce 1; social security heading into bankruptcy, union payoffs, class warfare, concealed personal history, racist mentors (Rev Wright, Louis Farrakhan), marxist backers (Bill Ayers, George Soros), sealed college transcripts; ...need I continue?

Rick Santorum and Michele Bachman are both a breath of fresh air.

Why must the Republican party keep shooting themselves in the foot by putting forward these ignorant candidates who stand for nothing but getting themselves elected, or developing a cult of personality cottage industry around themselves? Beating Obama in this economy should be like shooting fish in a barrel! Why isn't it? I suspect it is becasue of the influence of even more ignorant voters who don't take the time to educate themselves, but instead base their opinions on the media talk shows and other such entertainment nonsense. The prosect of another election with no major
candidates worth supporting is discouraging. Time for a third party.

db what about republicans? Remember who was driving the car that put us over the cliff and into this recession? George W. Bush. A war in Iraq that was a lie, record bank failures, colapse of the housing narket, budget deficits and increased debt, higher energy and gas prices, rising unemployment and falling GDP and much more. Need I continue...So don't think the democrats have the patent on stupid.
