POLAND
Lowellville Rod and Gun Club will have a gun show from 9 to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The show will be on club grounds, 6225 Quarry Road, and is open to the public.
Those who want to attend must be 21 years or older or accompanied by an adult. The admission fee is $4.
All weapons must be checked at the door prior to entering the club.
Comments
How many attendees will be skirting the background check to buy guns to rob area homes and businesses with these guns? The law must be changed to require background checks every time a weapon is purchased! Gun shows make it possible for criminals to buy guns without background checks.

Does it matter? If a criminal wants a gun they will get one.
Why make it easier?
you don't hear of mass shootings at these shows
Whats needed in this country is national identification for everyone. That includes DNA, fingerprints and photo ID's. Start at birth this will help identify everyone. Fingerprint match could also be contained on the magnetic strip. It would solve a lot of cold case crimes, identify fathers of children who never pay support so they can put them to work etc. It would solve any voter fraud . It would solve illegal gun purchases by not being able to get into a gun show.
We have the technical skill to do this already.
I also think all schools should have armed security...
FYI - Gun shows are getting a bad rap. Most dealers at the gun shows do go thru the national instant check system because they are required to do so. Private sales between individuals are not required to go thru a national instant check because the federal government cannot regulate private sales. There are more private sales done at garage sales, newspaper ads, between individuals and on the street than there are at gun shows.
If you want to see an example of a private sale, just check the classified in this paper. Type in "rifle" and see what you find. You can find the same in nearly every newspaper classified add in America. Private sales - not gun shows.
Good point, vindytalk.
Tomorrow, at the gun show at the Westland Mall, Columbus, there'll be 500 tables available for vendors. YAK, When was the last time you ran into a garage sale that held that much firepower?
Let's get the back ground check hard wired to the gun shows.
Yep,
There will be thousands of guns of all kinds at Westland Mall in Columbus.. And because guns kill people, it will be amazing if anyone gets out of there alive..
Yes, that "after the Mall" situation is worth pondering a lot. Especially, when it's a criminal or a terrorist who's been successful in using the gun show to buy weapons without a background check.
