YOUNGSTOWN
A 19-year-old Youngstown man, robbed at gunpoint, told police he was ordered to take off all of his clothes.
When the two robbers, one who had a gun, were debating whether to shoot him, the man fled naked onto the nearby Youngstown State University campus, he told police.
The man told police he was walking on Lincoln Avenue after eating at a nearby restaurant about 10:45 p.m. Sunday when two men approached him. One had a handgun, according to a city police report.
He was ordered to take off all his clothes, and complied, the report states. The two robbers took a necklace and the $15 the victim had.
When the two robbers demanded the man’s watch, they engaged in a conversation about whether to shoot him, the report states. At that time, the naked man ran onto the YSU campus and found a university officer.
YSU police confirmed that the man was naked. His clothes were found in front of Cushwa Hall on Lincoln Avenue.

This headline is such a load of crap. The victim, in all truth, wasn't naked until AFTER he was robbed!
Exactly redneck...I was wondering where a naked man would have 15.00 and how hard up do you have to be to demand that 15.00 from where he stored it!
Who walks around campus alone at night?
It's getting hot in here so....
Now we all know where Stan is
west
"Who walks around campus alone at night?"
That's the problem, innocent citizens/students shouldn't have to be afraid to walk alone on a college campus. Such a shame that we let the pitiful, lowlife, useless DNA's slither in the streets and take over the night. Can't wait till the time comes when society takes a stand against these filthy cockroaches and they become stats instead of the innocent ones.
25 years ago people didn't like walking alone at YSU at night.
Some things havent changed.
