Trent Ferry led Leetonia with 20 points and Ian Sevenich added 18. Cody Valentine scored 16 points. For Western Reserve, Payton Snyder had 17 points Joe Wisniewski grabbed seven rebounds and had six points. Nolan Snyder added eight points.


Brush 6, Canfield 1


Brush’s Victor Lenhammer scored five goals with an assist. T.J. Sakkas scored the lone goal for Canfield (1-8, 1-4 GCHSCHL).


Struthers 46, Salem 43


McKenna Shives led Struthers (6-0) with 13 points. Ashley Hefferon and Ashley Ryan each added 10 points. The Wildcats trailed by 10 at halftime. Salem (3-3) knocked down eight 3-pointers with Katherine Stiff and Tori Jones each hitting three. They had 12 and nine points, respectively.

Canfield 74, Louisville 69


Sabrina Mangapora had a game-high 29 points and Rachel Tinkey added 19 for Canfield (4-1). Abby Baker scored 11 points. The Cardinals held off a 25-point fourth quarter from Louisville.

West Branch 52, Mooney 22


Melinda Trimmer led West Branch with 18 points, five assists and four steals. Amanda Linhart scored 11 as Pavin Heath and Taryn Hahn each had eight. For Mooney, Jamie DiDomenico had six points. The Warriors started strong with a 20-9 first quarter lead.
