“BARBARA WALTERS PRESENTS THE 10 MOST FASCINATING PEOPLE OF 2012” (9:31 P.M., ABC): Another year, more famous folk. And now it’s time for the veteran newswoman to tell us who was all that. Her list includes New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, “Fifty Shades of Grey” author E L James, Olympic gymnast Gabby Douglas, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, actor-producer-director Ben Affleck, “Family Guy” mastermind Seth MacFarlane, and the wildly popular boy band One Direction. Who’s No. 1? You’ll have to watch to find out.

Chamber Players in holiday concert


The Chamber Players of the Mercer County Historical Society, under the direction of Richard Konzen, will present its Candlelight Christmas Concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Helen Black Miller Memorial Chapel, 119 S. Pitt St.

The concert, which is free and open to the public, will feature a variety of classical selections, and a traditional Christmas-carol sing-a-long. A cookies and punch reception will be held in the Social Room of the chapel following the concert. For information call the MCHS at 724-662-3490.

Elvis impersonator in show at mall


Elvis Presley impersonator Mark Lee Pringle will present a free Tribute to Early Elvis show at 3 p.m. Sunday in the main concourse of Southern Park Mall. Go to for information.

Card decks feature Trumbull history


In time for the holidays, the Sutliff Museum is selling decks of playing cards for $10 that feature 55 scenes from the history of Trumbull County. On the face of each card is a famous person, such as Clarence Darrow, or a monument, such as the Southington Founders Stone, or a historic building, such as the Courthouse. Two different backs are available. Boxed double decks for bridge or gin rummy are $20.

The museum is on the second floor of the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library at 444 Mahoning Ave. NW. It is open from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Go to
