Youngstown man killed in I-80 crash

TANNERSVILLE, Pa. (AP) — A chain-reaction crash involving three tractor-trailers on Interstate 80 in northeastern Pennsylvania has left one truck driver dead.

Officials say the crash happened during foggy conditions in the eastbound lanes about 3:30 a.m. Monday in Pocono Township, Monroe County.

State police say one of the trucks lost a concrete wall off its flatbed trailer, causing a chain-reaction crash involving the other two tractor-trailers.

Officials say 41-year-old truck driver Daniel L. Snyder of Youngstown, Ohio, died at the scene.

Eastbound Interstate 80 was closed for hours between exits 293 and 298 while authorities investigated. It has since reopened.
