Center offers lunch, program on stress
The Niles S.C.O.P.E. Senior Center, 14 E. State St., has scheduled a free Lunch ’n Learn program for 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
A light lunch will follow and is free.
The topic will be “Spirituality and Stress Relief” featuring speaker Terri Heinrich of Senior Independence.
Preregistration is required.
Members and nonmembers are invited.

Toy and food drive will be at Choices
A toy and food drive and dance will take place at 9:30 p.m. Saturday at Choices, inside the Metroplex, Belmont Avenue.
Take toys to be donated to the Boys & Girls Club and canned goods for Salvation Army.
Entertainment will feature Youngstown’s Total Package Band, recording artist J Trip and old school singer Jody B.
There also will be line dancing, finger foods, a photographer and the best-dressed male and female contest.
The cost is $7.
Toys and food also may be dropped off at the Metroplex main lobby all day Friday and Saturday.

Family Video to host cookie walk for dogs
Legacy Dog Rescue of Ohio Inc will have a cookie walk from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday at Family Video, 4385 Kirk Road.
Donations of cookies are needed.
