60-Plus Seniors of St. Brendan Church will have its annual Christmas party at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Maxwell Hall. Reservations are required. Cards and bingo will follow the party. Report illnesses and death to Theresa Vivaqua at 330-793-2792.

1418 Auxiliary Seniors will meet for a Christmas party at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in the great hall of St. Nicholas Church, 764 Fifth St., Struthers. John Texter will preside. Birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged, and cards and bingo will be played. Refreshments will be served. Report illnesses or deaths to Pat Bozichovich at 330-755-7552. Reservations must be made today by calling Sandy Redeske at 330-755-5192.

Bev Road MASCO Retirees will meet for breakfast at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Landmark Restaurant, 7424 Market St., Boardman.

Croatian Pensioners of the Mahoning Valley will host a Christmas buffet at noon Thursday at the Lodge 66 Croatian Center, 3200 Vestal Road. For reservations call Millie Terihay at 330-757-2024, and make checks payable to Croatian Pensioners. Report illnesses to Sophie Ceryan at 330-759-1790.

Girard Senior Citizens Club has planned its annual Christmas party for 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mark Church, 3560 Logan Way. December birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged, and drawings for prizes will take place. There will be entertainment afterward.

Golden Pillars will meet at noon Tuesday at St. Mary Assumption Social Center, 356 S. Belle Vista Ave., after an 11 a.m. Mass. Those attending are asked to take canned goods, staples and monetary donations for St. Vincent De Paul Society. Mary Novak will preside, birthdays and anniversaries will be observed, and cards and bingo will be played. Members should take their own place setting for a Christmas luncheon.

J.C. Penney Retirees are meeting for lunch at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Denny’s restaurant in Boardman. Each member is asked to take a dozen cookies.

Local 1199 Retirees will meet for the annual Christmas lunch at noon Dec. 18 at The Gentry, 116 E. Liberty St., Hubbard. Members and guests are welcome. Cost is $15 each. Call Lillie Teague for reservations by Wednesday at 330-746-8518.

Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played, and Bob Ferrara will give the devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. OBES Retirees will have a Christmas lunch at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at TJ’s in the Holiday Inn, Boardman.

Saxon Retirees will meet at noon Thursday at the club ballroom on Meridian Road. Cost of the ham dinner is $8; reservations and cancellations are due this evening by calling Pat Bokesch at 330-799-3121 or Teri Laret at 330-799-2789. Members are reminded to take a $5 gift for exchange.

Sears Friendship Club will meet at noon Monday at Johnny’s, 7807 Market St., Boardman.

St. Anthony Seniors will meet for a Christmas dinner at noon Tuesday at Davidson’s Restaurant, Cornersburg. For reservations call Rita Criscione at 330-545-2698.

St. Charles Over-55 Club will have its annual Christmas party at noon Tuesday in Father Haidet Social Hall. Reservations are needed; cost of the catered luncheon is $9 per person. For information call Carolyn Valensi at 330-726-2375.

St. Christine Seniors will have a Christmas party Wednesday at the Croatian Home on Vestal Road. There will be a meeting at 11 a.m. followed by a dinner at noon. All reservations have been accepted; no tickets will be available at the door. There will be door prizes, a 50-50 raffle and bingo and card games. The next meeting will be Jan. 16.

St. Joseph Goldenagers will meet for a catered Christmas luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Lyons Hall. Cost is $14; those who haven’t paid may do so at the door. Business reports will be given, birthdays and anniversaries will be honored, and get-well cards will be sent to members who are ill. Cards and a 50-50 raffle are on the agenda. The next meeting will take place March 14.

St. Rose Seniors’ Thursday meeting has been cancelled. Meetings will resume in January.

Sunshine Seniors will meet for a Christmas luncheon at noon Dec. 18 at the Byzantine Center at the Grove. Betty Jean Fehrenbaugh will preside. For reservations or cancellations call Vera DeFuria at 330-792-6607 no later than Monday. Birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged, and there will be a 50-50 raffle. UFCW Local 880 Retirees will meet for a holiday breakfast at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Davidson’s Restaurant, Cornersburg. The new president will be installed. Family and friends also may attend. For information and reservations call 330-544-5656 or 330-788-2181.

USWA Local 2243 Copperweld Steel Retirees, S.O.A.R. Chapter 1-28-10, will have its Christmas party from 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 20 at DiLucia’s Family Restaurant, 2610 Elm Road, Warren. Take a small gift. Call 330-847-2929 for reservations by Saturday.
