7-year-old boy accidentally shot to death

MERCER, Pa.

A 7-year-old boy was fatally shot in the chest outside a hunting and camping supply store this morning.

The emergency call came in to the Mercer County 911 Center at 10:53 a.m. from Twigs Reloading Den at 8388 Sharon-Mercer Road in East Lackawannock Township, a 911 supervisor said.

The Mercer police and fire departments, an ambulance, State Police and the county coroner were dispatched to the scene.

The boy’s father said a handgun in his pickup truck discharged accidentally, striking the boy as he sat in a booster seat; and emergency responders’ efforts to revive the boy were unsuccessful, according to 21WFMJ-TV.

I'm sure it was the gun and not the father that killed him. Those SOB's just jump up and fire randomly .

As he should! If that was me, I wouldn't be on this planet anymore.

your right life2short, I don't know how you can survive that grief. Don't own a gun if you don't know how to handle it properly--and that means not putting it in the car or truck loaded. Put the gun in a locked box or trunk out of reach.
My prayers to the family.

In News here in FL, a guy shot off his family jewels. That Mercer story was in News today down here. That father should shoot off his family jewels so that he does not have anymore kids.
