Poland girls rally to beat South Range
Liz Suess scored 12 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead the Poland varsity girls basketball team to a 39-32 win over South Range Monday night. The Bulldogs outscored the Raiders 16-3 in the third quarter to turn a 16-15 halftime deficit into a 31-19 advantage heading into the fourth quarter. Aleah Hughes added 11 points and seven rebounds, while Rachael Robertson added eight points. Kasie Serich chipped in with six points and five boards.
7th grade girls victorious
The Poland seventh-grade girls basketball team opened the season with a 32-23 win over Howland Monday night. Maggie Sebest led the Lady Bulldogs with 11 points, while Bella Gajdos added nine. Six others scored for Poland, including Katie Murko and Emma Moffo.
