Ohio air base seeks to eliminate obscene material

Published: Fri, December 7, 2012 @ 10:15 a.m.

DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — U.S. Air Force officials say obscene material has no place in work areas and are taking steps this week to eliminate it from an Ohio base.

The Dayton Daily News reports that Air Force officials started hunting for obscene material in all work areas at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton.

The Air Force ordered the inspections at all of its installations in light of sexual misconduct complaints to the service’s top military leader. Offensive material could include pictures of scantily clad women in calendars, posters and elsewhere.

Chief of Staff Mark Welsh told the Air Force Times that he’s heard complaints throughout the service about images, jokes and comments that made women and some men uncomfortable.

A base spokesman called the search a “huge undertaking.”

It's a "huge undertaking" alright- trying to change human nature. Men have been looking at nude or partially clad pictures of woman since the beginning of time and, now, suddenly- ITS AN ISSUE! Why? The Femi-nazis- excuse me, I should say feminists- don't like it.

I have maintained for a long time that giving woman the vote was a dubious idea and stories like the above make me think I was right.
