Melinda Trimmer scored 22 points including four 3-pointers as the Warriors (3-0) remained unbeaten. Erica Johnson and Amanda Linhart each scored eight points. Trailing 29-28 at halftime, the Warriors surged with a 15-3 edge in the third quarter. For the Cardinals (2-1), Rachel Tinkey’s 13 points included three 3-pointers. Abby Baker contributed 12 points while Kayla Barko pulled down a game-high nine rebounds.

The Blue Streaks (4-0, 1-0 Federal League) led 32-9 at halftime. Anna Patoray and Kelly Tomcsanyi each scored five points for Boardman (1-2, 0-2).

Sydney Beasley led Ursuline (0-3) with nine points. Tanaya Beachum added eight points and Mary O’Donnell scored seven. The Irish led 11-10 at the end of the first quarter, but scored just six in the second.
