American Legion Post 737, 16465 Milton Ave., Lake Milton, will serve the following meals from 3 to 7 p.m.: all-you-can-eat fried fish with french fries or macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, rolls and beverage; chicken with fries, coleslaw, rolls and beverage; or shrimp with fries, coleslaw, rolls and beverage. Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. There is a limit of three dozen cabbage pirogi while supplies last. Orders may be picked up from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., will sell potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi for $5.50 a dozen. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 8 to 11 Friday, based upon availability. Pickup will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday; walk-in orders will be available. Pirogi lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Dec. 14 will be the last day to purchase before the holiday. No lunches served Dec. 14.

Tod Avenue United Methodist Church, 155 Tod Ave., Warren, will host an all-you-can-eat fish dinner from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. The meal consists of ocean perch, potatoes, coleslaw, dessert and beverage, with meatloaf also available. Cost is $9 for adults, $3 for children 4 to 11, and free for 3 and under. Carryouts are available at 3:30 p.m. The United Methodist Women’s Christmas room will be open for shopping.


Bethel Lutheran Church, 425 Crestview Ave., Boardman, (next to West Blvd. School), will be holding a cookie walk and soup and craft sale from 9 a.m. until sold out. Homemade Christmas cookies are $5 a dozen. A portion of the proceeds will support the church’s charities.
