Lions Clubs' party gives gifts and goodies

The Youngstown Lions Club’s 92nd annual Christmas Party is today at the Saxon Club, Meridian Road.

Gifts will be passed out to over 125 visually impaired and special-needs students of the Youngstown Public Schools, the Leonard Kirtz School and the Southside Academy and the visually impaired clients of Goodwill.

The gifts will be passed out by Santa, Mrs. Claus and the Youngstown Lions Club’s elves.

Students also will be fed a turkey dinner and given a gift bag full of goodies.

Music for dancing will be provided by a disc jockey.

The Youngstown Lions Club funds this annual party from the proceeds of their annual turtle derby in the summer.
